Zillow’s iPhone, iPad and Android applications are the #1 real estate applications on their respective devices and drive a large portion of the company’s traffic. Within the group, we’re passionate about building the best native mobile experiences for buyers and renters looking for their next home. With features like saved searches and location-based recommendations, the engagement team delights users by surfacing interesting content at the right time.
About the role
This development manager oversees the end-to-end software feature lifecycle and contributes code alongside the team’s developers. You’ll ship updates weekly and keep a laser focus on using the unique capabilities of mobile devices.

Who you are
You’re passionate about great user facing applications and you’re interested in the mobile space. You might be completely new to mobile application development and eager to try something different — most of our group came from a non-mobile background!

Responsibilities for this role include:

Managing a team of 4-6 software developers
Collaborating with product managers and test leads
Growing the team through mentorship and hiring

You have at least 5 years of software development experience
You have 2 years of people management experience or equivalent experience as a non-managing software team lead
You care deeply about a great end-user experience
